Der Ring for Concert Band

The longest opera ever written. A great mythic music drama. Familiar to millions, known by few.

This is Richard Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen. Because it takes just about sixteen hours to perform, not many can claim a true appreciation. In adolescence I was fortunate enough to receive a DVD copy of the work, and it took years to properly digest.

The Ring is such a special work and the public deserves a chance to understand it.

To address this concern, I am currently arranging a suite reduction of the opera to be played by wind band.
